Career Interests
Sara is a career educator who has worked with students across multiple age ranges, achievement levels, language proficiencies, needs, cultures, backgrounds, and interests. Having earned a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences & STEM Education from Florida State University, she also has gained experience working in research settings, including undergraduate labs and qualitative social science research. She is a hard-working, creative, and intentional person who intends to be a life-long learner.
Professionally, Sara is currently open to continuing her teaching career in a traditional public school setting or extending her work to non-traditional educational spaces. She is also interested in applying her skills from the classroom to other lines of work; Sara believes she can be an asset to a team looking for someone to plan and execute engaging events, communicate with stakeholders, analyze and apply data trends, and/or use technical software to prepare material. She is especially interested in work that centers young people or people from traditionally underserved communities.
